01 · The pickupBefore the sun is properly up, I hear it. The Jumbulance pulling up to my door. I don't have to work out how I'll get to it. It comes to me.

Placeholder02 · BoardingThe lift lowers to the pavement and I roll straight on, still in my chair. No transfer, no fuss, just a steady hand and a cheerful good morning.
03 · Settling inInside it's warm and roomy. I find my spot, the kettle's already on, and the volunteers are already laughing about something.
04 · On the roadWe're off. Cards, music, the hum of the road, and faces I'll know by name by the time we get there.
05 · ArrivingAnd then, the sea, the square, the place we came to see. I'm here, the same as anyone.
06 · The dayWe take it at our own pace. Photos, ice cream, a bench in the sun. For a few hours I forget the chair entirely.
07 · Going homeOn the way back, half of us are dozing. I watch the fields go by and think, I'd do this again tomorrow.
Every journey is different, but the feeling is the same: belonging, freedom, and the chance to be part of something.
