[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Once again, our team of intrepid mountain explorers set out for Austria on January 26th for 7th ski trip. Despite concerns about too much snow and avalanches we made it safe and well to The Sonnschein in Niederau. Our lazy friends who ducked the long journey and flew out to Innsbruck joined us later and we had an AMAZING week of skiing, laughing, eating cake, laughing some more and eating more cake.
Despite it been VERY cold (minus 10 at some points) the snow conditions were fantastic and everyone enjoyed the experience of skiing on a proper mountain in fresh powder snow. As always with this group, we are keen to encourage new participants and this time we had 3 (of the 9) adapted skiers had never skied before and two of these had never travelled with Jumbulance before either, furthermore we had several new first time Jumbulance volunteers too, which is great. this trip is a massive team effort so a huge THANK YOU to everyone who made this amazing trip possible.
Planning is already underway for even bigger and better things adapted skiing in 2020 and once again we’d welcome new people to join us and experience this great holiday.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]
